no unfortunately
Poor kitty.
If he has diabetes, give your cat virgin organic coconut oil and butter. It will bring down the blood sugar level. Also I’d give him a little cod liver oil. If he does not lick the cod liver oil by himself, you might need to get a syringe from theVet and squirt 2cc’s of cod liver oil in his mouth. Feed your kitty liver or canned food. Not the dry food. Dry food has too many carbohyrdrates for him.
If it’s not diabetes, have the Vet check his Thyroid. My cat was eating 4 cans a day and losing weight rapidly. It turns out her thyroid was not working properly and had to go on thyroid medication.

my cat was just diagnosed with diabetes last week he was losing wt with a good apetiet, a major sign of diabetes is increased water intake and urination. if he is still doing both normally, it would be a good idea to have the vet check his thyriod levels, one good way to double check and make sure everything is working well is to have a blood panel done checking all major functions around 125$ it is a bit steep but that will tell the vet everything- liver, kidney thyroid and glucose levels. as well as all of his blood counts if he has an infection or id he is anemic ect. then between the two of you you can come up with a solution. I know he gets very upset at the vet, but if you start giving him home remedies then you could cause more problems than solve especially since you don’t have a definitive diagnosis. Cats are very resliant. the vet could even hold on to him for a little while to calm him down before drawing blood.
